This is a symbolic progression of generative relationships in part of a network. I like to use it to sharpen people's sense making about networks as they grow.
Yes I do. The point is to get people developing possible stories/scenarios about the possibilities of people introducing others, people reaching into the network and out from the network. I like the questions, What could have happened to bring these new connections about?, and What do you think the new connections might do to impact other existing connections?
